Genital Herpes (Warts)
Genital herpes (warts) is a sexual transmitted infection
characterized by painful eruptions on the skin and
mucous membrane of the genital area. It is caused
by the herpes simplex type 2 virus (HSV-2). It is
transmitted through skin-to-skin contact with herpes
sores, or from the secretions of the genital, mouth, or
There are two stages to a herpes breakout:
Prodromal and asymptomatic.
During the first genital herpes outbreak (prodromal stage),
blisters mayo ccur anywhere in the genital area. The
blisters break and leave sores. Other symptoms include
fever, urinary problems, discharge, and swelling of the
lymph nodes in the inguinal area.
During the asymptomatic stage, the herpes virus is dormant
in the nerve cell. At times, the herpes virus can reactivate
and move to the surface of the skin without causing any
symptoms, this is called asymptomatic viral shedding.
However, the infection can still be transmitted even if there is
no visible symptom.
Things that may cause the recurrence of a genital herpes
episode are the menstrual cycle, poor diet, emotional stress,
and low immunity.
Homeopathic Treatment  Goal
Genital warts are highly contagious.
Even though the incubation period takes seven to fourteen
days before the first sign of a herpes outbreak, the infection
occurs at the very moment of contact.
Do not treat genital herpes topically.. Doing so may lead to a
serious internal disease.
When you treat a skin eruption with a topical ointment, you
drive the very toxin that the body is trying to eliminate back
into the system, giving it an opportunity to concentrate on
another organ or tissue.
The homeopathic goal is to clear out the toxic load.
Specific emphasis is put on the detoxification of intoxicated cells
and on strengthening the immune system to fight against the virus.
Proper hygiene is recommended.
